As Aion 5.0 is kicking off today in Korea, PlayNC has released a summarizing trailer showing what we can expect.
We have already posted some of the features that are coming in Aion 5.0, but this new trailer tells it all in one go. The 13-minute trailer brings us some cinematic elements, concept art, brand new zones, and introduces the new skills of 5.0.
Not much is known about the release of Aion 5.0 in other regions like EU, NA and Russia, but we think it is likely to happen sometime next year. NA is probably going to be first to get the 5.0 update followed by the others.
The new zones are simply beautiful, and through the trailer you can see the new center hubs for both Elyos and Asmodians.
We have high hopes for Aion and really hope that this pace that they are bringing new updates will result in restoring its popularity in regions other than Korea. NCSoft is also working on Blade & Soul’s release in NA and EU that will probably occur early 2016. It seems B&S is highly influencing Aion, as the new hairstyles are greatly inspired by those you can find in B&S.
